What is a labelling machine and how does it works?

A labelling machine is an equipment designed to automatically or semi-automatically apply labels onto products, containers or packaging. It is useful in assisting the manufacturers to achieve efficient, high-consistent and precise labelling as compared with manual application.

Our procedures encompass machine design, parts fabrication, machine assembly, program-writing, wiring & soldering, test-running, machine delivery, installation and after-sales supports. Our in-house mechanical designers, programmers and wiring men are collaborating closely to ensure our labelling machine fits well with the customer requirements.

Depending on the product and labelling requirements, a labelling machine can apply labels on various surfaces, including the top, side, front, back or circumference of a product. The typical applications are plastic bags, pouches, bottles, cans, jars, boxes, cartons, trays and other packaging.

A labelling machine generally works by loading the product onto the machine, detecting its position with a product sensors, dispensing a label from a label roll and applying the label accurately onto the designated surface. The labelled product then continues to the next stage of the production or packaging line.

The suitable labelling machine depends on factors such as product shape and size, label dimensions, labelling position, production speed and automation level. AURAPLEX provides various labelling machines and customized labelling solutions for different products and production requirements in Malaysia.
